Aer Lingus recently announced plans for expansion in the long-haul programme. Currently, in its long-haul division it serves Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Dubai. By 2008, the company will have acquired two new Airbus A330s. One A330-200 and one A330-300X, increasing the long haul fleet to nine aircraft.
