If you are a bodybuilder, you probably are not overweight. In fact, just your bodybuilding efforts alone will keep you at a healthy weight. The problem isn't weight. The problem is body fat, and losing body fat that ruins the overall visual affect that you are going for, while gaining lean muscle mass.
So, whether you need to actually lose pounds or not, you definitely need a fat loss supplement. Bodybuilders seldom care about how much they weigh - if they fully understand what bodybuilding is all about. Instead, they concern themselves with measurements, such as the size of a muscle, and the ratio of body fat that they have. Some bodybuilders actually gain weight, while losing body fat. In the world of bodybuilding, weight is just a number that doesn't mean much.
Bodybuilders around the world have tried millions of products in an effort to lose body fat, without losing the muscle that they want. Billions of dollars are spent annually for this quest. What many don't realize is that the answer has already been found, and there is no need to spend those billions of dollars anymore.
Creatine is, and always has been the answer to losing body fat while gaining lean muscle mass. The muscles use creatine, enabling them to work harder for longer periods of time. This is where the increased muscle mass comes into plan. The loss of body fat comes from having muscles that are drenched with creatine. These muscles attract water, which fills up the muscle cells. This in turn makes bigger muscles - if only temporarily. Bigger muscles require more energy, and they will start using your stores of body fat for that energy, which results in a loss of body fat.
Science has proven this over and over again, yet there will always be bodybuilders who don't take the time to learn about different supplements and hormones, and how they affect the human body, much less their weight training efforts. This typically costs them a great deal of money, and a great deal of wasted time as well - while those who have taken the time to educate themselves are continually building that lean muscle mass and reducing their body fat to zero at the same time.
The benefits of creatine are incredible, and there are no negative side effects of using creatine. Some will tell you that it causes muscle cramps, but it has always been found that if you are suffering from muscle cramps, it isn't because of creatine; it is because you aren't drinking enough water. There have been reports of acne associated with bodybuilders who take creatine, but these are always people who had acne before they started working out - and the sweat produced by working out causes more frequent acne breakouts.
When it comes to fat loss supplements, creatine is the winner all around, and there are plenty of doctors, scientists, body building experts, and bodybuilders to attest to that.
