So you've decided to buy an nintendo system wii? Congratulations! I think you are making an excellent decision. But where in the world do you find one?

Ever since the Wii was released, it has been pretty hard to find. Nintendo has been cranking them out as fast as they can, but the demand is still much more then the supply. Nintendo can't make them fast enough!

So what then are your options?

1) Ebay: Of course you can buy one on ebay. You will pay more then full price for one however. Prices are no where near as high as they were during Christmas, so that is a relief. If you watch the market carefully, and don't endulge in a "buy it now", you should be able to get one for only about thirty to fifty more then retail price.

2) Local Retailers: This is a tough one. Shipments come in sporadically, and are often sold out later that day. Trying to get one reserved is usually not an option.

3) Local Video Game Stores: Yeah right! They still haven't filled their preorders!

So it seems like your best option then is ebay, or waiting another few months until more wii's are made. At this point there aren't a lot of great games out yet (except of course for zelda!) but there certainly will be before years end. Waiting it out wouldn't be the end of the world.
