i've tried so hard   to hold it together   keep us together   forever   but i'm broken now   broken down   but i never knew   a person like you   could cause me so much pain   nothing to lose   nothing to gain   nothing will ever be the same      and i've kept it all   together   and you don't even care   and i've tried so hard   but you shot me down   do i want you back now?   never      the waves are crashing   down on me   knocking me down      theres nothing you can say   to me   to assure me that you   wont ever hurt me   the way i've been hurt before.   the anxiety builds up   and doesn't leave   until i have you in my arms.   any little thing   could trigger it   set it off   break me down.   im letting down my walls   for you.   i feel bare.   like no one cares,   but you.      i'm insecure.   i feel alone   but you can change all that   and i know you will.   but you can't change me.   it's just the way i am.      and i've kept it all   together   and you don't even care   and i've tried so hard   but you shot me down   do i want you back now?   never
