Like a minnow in a tube   I’m enclosed in attitudes   and I often find that I   try to think and nothing comes up to mind   it’s like it’s all I’ll really ever know   and in the end I’ll have nothing to show   for all my worry pent up inside   when is my time   when does it become my life      you could feel responsible for her   but you got to see   could not have been perfect   if you feel responsible for her    you got to see   could not have been more worthless      When you worry you make it bad   if you're hurt you may get mad   if you look real hard you’ll find   all you worry about is her all the time   and the thoughts roll though my head   of what I should or shouldn't do instead   all the thoughts that are wasted time,   are the thoughts I've left behind      All you are is what you’re worth   and if you’re worthless you’ll get hurt   you'd just stop if you had a clue   worries paying interest on a debt never due   it don’t come easy you’ll get better, besides   you need to learn to get better inside   it might take a while   it might take a while      you could feel responsible for her   but you got to see   could not have been perfect   if you feel responsible for her    you got to see   could not have been more worthless
