Perhaps, you are being trapped in the above situation. Or maybe you are trapped in a worse situation? Well, you are definitely not alone. It is usually quite common that when a person just gone through a break up, his/her friends will encourage him/her to just let go and move on to a better relationship.

Well, if that happens to you should not blame your friends or even resent them. Understand that they do so with good intention. Sometimes, it is really difficult for an outsider to understand how you feel after a break up. It is definitely very easy for them to tell you to just move on when they themselves may have never experience a break up before.

However, if you are still serious about getting your ex back, there is definitely something you can still do, even if you are the only one trying or seem to be the only one trying. The reason why I say seem to be the only one trying is because sometimes you may be surprised that your ex is actually trying to get back to you too.

Whatever the situation is, you must remember that certain things should not be rush. It doesnt mean you dont take any action but you just have to be careful not to overdo it. Remember, more haste less speed. Sometimes, trying something to fast can worsen the situation instead of making it better.

For example, if you are trying to contact your ex, you dont want to call him/her several times per day. You dont want to appear too eager as that may undermine your effort. You may be very eager to get him/her back but you do not want to show this eagerness in front of your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Another reason why you dont want to do that is because you dont want to force him/her to take extreme actions. He/she might just decide to cut off all contacts with you. This is definitely what you want to avoid at all cost.

By taking things more gradually and consistently, you will stand a much better chance to win your ex back.
