There are ways to lose weight quickly so that you will get you ready in time for your event.
One of the important things to do when trying to lose weight is to consume plenty of protein. Protein keeps the body from feeling hungry and going in to "famine" mode, storing fat instead of decreasing it. Eating protein every three hours will keep you from being hungry. It's also important to have several ounces before you go to bed, so your body will continue to not store fat while you sleep. Be sure to eat lean protein, like fish or lean cuts of meat. Chicken breast works well as does beans and eggs. You can also purchase a protein supplement in a tasty shake or bar. This will add variety and satisfy your sweet tooth as well.
Another great way to take off the pounds is to drink more water. Many people are dehydrated and don't know it, so the body will hoard four to six pounds of water to make up for the deficit. By drinking lots of water, the body will stop storing so much and you will be able to lose four pounds of water weight alone.
Instead of eating three large meals a day, eat a lot of smaller meals throughout the day. This will also keep your body from storing fat due to hunger. It will also speed up your metabolism and because you won't be hungry, you will take in less calories during the course of the day.
