How you act in a social setting is one of the hugest factors in how women treat you. Depending on the friends you have and your visible interactions with them, you can either be seen as someone who would make a good partner or just a casual acquaintance. The important thing is to act confident, and be seen as the authority figure within your group. Women respect confidence and power, and the best way to show these qualities is to simply act confident and powerful. People of both sexes desire to be with someone who they think will increase their own overall status.

Hanging out with friends who are of a high social class is a fine way to automatically gain respect by association. Some people, however, do not feel comfortable around people different from themselves, or maybe do not know anybody from a higher social class. It is more detrimental than beneficial to force your way in to somewhere where you do not belong.

You probably have seen men who do not need to try to pick up women. In fact, they do not seem to be picking up women at all; instead, the men are the ones being hit on. This seems like a backwards approach to getting a girl, but in some cases it is easier than doing it the traditional method.

So, how can you be this type of guy? First, you need to appear approachable, and be deeply involved in the environment around you. Be someone everybody wants to know. Realistically, it does not matter if you are not the most handsome guy in the world, or are not as rich as you would like to be. As long as you know what you want and act like you are going to get it, you will be desirable.

Being around women is an integral part of picking them up, because one can obviously not get a date if there is not a group to choose from. Therefore, you need to go where females congregate, such as stores, clubs, and even church. Sometimes, potential situations will arise when you were not even trying to initiate one. For example, if you help a woman with something at a store, that could possibly turn into a relationship. Always be on the lookout for opportunities, and you are sure to find one eventually. Remember to consistently act confident and like a leader, as that is the key to getting women to approach you.

Most importantly of all, always treat every woman you meet nicely and respectfully. You probably have read or heard that acting harshly or negatively towards women makes them want you more, and this does work in some cases. If you do this on a regular basis, however, you will eventually find someone who does not bite, and then you will be faced with embarrassment and humiliating rejection.

Also, acting inappropriately is widely regarded as morally wrong, so avoid doing it at all costs. Dedicate yourself to always treating women politely and pleasantly, and you will come out on top more than half of the time.
