Pack up your things from room to room. Then color code the boxes so you will know where each box should go to. When moving houses you don't necessarily let the removal company carry everything. You should bring the essential things with you in your travel. For instance, you might want to leave some glasses or cups so you can serve tea or juice during the move. You should also have some food with you so that you will have something to eat before you leave and when you arrive your new place.

A change of clothes and towels are essential to keep yourself fresh and clean. You might need a pen and paper while in travel so you could have them in your hand carried bag as well.

Since you will be traveling, you might also need a set of tools just in case your car breaks down. Other types of tools may be needed to assemble furniture though. It is also advisable to have your first aid kit ready always.

To make unpacking easier as well, you can put some signs to indicate that a particular box or boxes belong to the said room. Then you can start unpacking room by room until everything is place.
